ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing

This three day course is designed to introduce testing concepts, methods and best practices. Successful completion of a one hour multiple choice exam on the last day will lead to the ISEB / ISTQB Foundation Certificate in software testing.

ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing

The practitioner certificate is a BCS professional qualification that takes the concepts learned in the Foundation Certificate and expands on them to provide more detail. Upon completion of the course, candidates need to take a 3 hour examination, normally arranged on site after the course.

Who should attend: Candidates who hold the Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and have at least 18 months experience in Software Testing.

Full details of the course syllabus are available from the BCS website. The 10 day course can be split into 2 week long sessions or shorter periods as required, depending on the course modules

Usability Testing

The objective of this 2 day course is to provide an understanding of the importance of Usability when considering software systems and the mechanisms by which it can be measured.

The course also provides practical examples of techniques that can be used to measure usability and describes the usability test process in detail, as related to International standards.

Who Should Attend: System Designers Existing Testers People who are already involved in usability testing who want to follow a formalised approach based on industry standards People new to usability testing

User Acceptance Training

This 2 day course provides practical examples of techniques that can be used to measure usability and describes the usability test process in detail, as related to International standards. Who Should Attend: Those with little or no knowledge of testing, but have been given the responsibility for User Acceptance Testing Managers who have the responsibility for carrying out user acceptance testing
